A cattle-farm kid

The Story · Gavin Adcock
Not a costume. His closet.
Watkinsville, Georgia. A cattle farm, a stockyard, a football field, and a bus down fraternity row. This is where the shirt comes from, and why there's a story behind every chapter.

Four weeks straight
The pearl snaps became Gavin's lifestyle when he started wearing 'em on repeat, where nobody gave a damn if you wore the same shirt four weeks running
Told to sit down
His knee blew out and the football dream ended, so he wrote eight songs in six weeks. A few weeks later Gavin was surfing a school bus down fraternity row, caught a beer and chugged it. Barstool posted it. They said play football or sing, not both. He left.
The stage ritual
Tucked in at the start of the show. Ripped open for the last song. Nobody would partner with him, so he built it on his own.
Do the work. Raise the hell.
